Therapy
For people who think hard about their own lives and have run out of road doing it alone.

I am not accepting new clients right now.
If you are looking for care, start with Omaha Integrative Care. I founded it, the model is the one I believe in, and the clinicians there do the work I would want done for someone I love. Dignity in Healing Collective is the other place to look for information about therapy services.
I know that is not the answer you came here for. I would rather tell you plainly than leave you waiting on an email.
The work
Most of the people I work with are competent. They are the ones other people lean on. They can describe their own patterns accurately, in detail, and it has not been enough, which is confusing and a little humiliating. It is also completely ordinary. Insight and change are not the same thing. Change tends to happen lower down, in the body and the nervous system, and that is where most of my work happens.
I specialize in trauma, including medical trauma. If you have been dismissed, misdiagnosed, or told your symptoms were anxiety when you knew they were not, I understand that from both chairs.
My foundation is psychodynamic. Over the years I have added mindfulness, somatic work, and internal family systems. I do not run a protocol. I build the approach around the person in front of me, because you are not a diagnosis and I have never met two of the same.
Who I am most useful to
Adults navigating trauma or medical trauma. People carrying high-responsibility work and the exhaustion underneath it. Women who have spent years being told it is stress. Clinicians and leaders who need a room where they are not the one holding it.
